Responsible Play

At Lethbridge Casino, we believe gambling should be a form of entertainment and never a way to make money or escape problems. Most people play for fun, but for some, gambling can become harmful. This page explains the tools we give you to stay in control, how we support players and where to find free, confidential help.

1. Our Commitment

We are committed to:

  • Giving you clear, easy-to-use tools to manage your play.
  • Training our team to recognize signs of harmful gambling and respond with care.
  • Keeping our games and promotions honest, with fairness tested by independent bodies such as eCOGRA and GLI.
  • Never targeting marketing at anyone who has self-excluded or chosen to take a break.
  • Keeping our service strictly for adults aged 19 and over.

2. Tools You Control

You can set up most of these tools in your account settings. For anything you cannot set yourself, email help@lethbridgecasino.app.

  • Deposit, wager and stake limits: set daily, weekly or monthly caps on how much you deposit, how much you wager in total, and how much you stake per bet. Once a limit is reached, you cannot go over it until the period resets.
  • Reality checks and time alerts: choose how often you want an on-screen reminder showing how long you have been playing and how much you have won or lost. You can then continue, take a pause or log out.
  • Take a break or cooling-off: step away for any period from 24 hours to 6 weeks. During a break you cannot log in to play or deposit, and we stop sending you marketing. Your account reopens automatically when the period ends.
  • Self-exclusion and account closure: if you need a longer break, you can self-exclude for an extended period. During self-exclusion your account is closed for play, we do not accept deposits and we stop all marketing. Self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the end of the chosen period. You can also ask us to close your account permanently.
  • Self-assessment quiz: answer a short set of questions to reflect on your gambling habits. It takes a few minutes and is completely private.
  • KYC and geolocation checks before any deposit: before you can deposit, we confirm your identity, your age and that you are located where our service is permitted. This protects minors and helps ensure our service is used safely.

3. How Limit Changes Take Effect

We designed our limits so that it is easy to be more careful and harder to act on impulse:

  • Decreases apply instantly. If you lower a limit, the new limit takes effect immediately.
  • Increases take 24 hours. If you raise or remove a limit, the change only takes effect after 24 hours. This gives you time to reconsider.

4. Check In With Yourself

Ask yourself these questions from time to time. If you answer yes to any of them, it may be time to take a step back:

  • Do you spend more money or time gambling than you planned?
  • Do you chase losses, trying to win back what you have lost?
  • Have you borrowed money or used money meant for bills to gamble?
  • Do you feel anxious, irritable or low when you are not gambling?
  • Has gambling caused arguments with family or friends, or affected your work or studies?
  • Do you hide your gambling from people close to you?

Our self-assessment quiz can help you look at these questions in more detail.

5. Tips for Safer Play

  • Set a budget before you play and treat it as the cost of entertainment.
  • Decide how long you will play and use reality checks to stick to it.
  • Never gamble when you are upset, stressed or under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
  • Balance gambling with other activities you enjoy.
  • Accept losses as part of the game and never chase them.

6. Protecting Minors

Our service is for people aged 19 and over. We verify age before any deposit, and we close any account we find belongs to a minor. If you share a device with children or teens, keep your login details private, do not save passwords in your browser and consider parental-control software. Our Underage Gambling Policy has more detail.

7. Where to Get Free Help

If you or someone you care about is affected by gambling, free and confidential support is available:
